A must for the beach if you need to be out of sunOct 07, 2010

This is an excellent product.It is tough and durable and simple to set up.It easily fits two full size beach chairs and and large cooler neath it.It has two great zip up window vents and comes with ample stakes and ties.You may want to purchase the screw in device for the sand to insert the main mast into the sand.A small rubber mallet will be and good item to keep also.Price was great,but shipping was a little costly.You probably can do better at Sams or Costco to save them charges.The tax you would pay wouldn't be no where near the shipping cost.

I was looking for a beach shelter that was fast to put up, easy to carry, and roomy enough for three adults and two dogs.
ROOMY: Not all of us sit under the umbrella at the same time, but the dogs (medium-sized) can fit under the umbrella with a lot of room to spare while the rest of us keep our heads in the shade and lay out in front of the umbrella. If I had small children they could have fit completely in the shade with the two dogs and the coolers.
EASY TO CARRY: It comes in a carrying bag that is easy to carry on a shoulder but does seem a little cheap, but only time will tell how well it stands up to carrying, so far so good!
FAST TO PUT UP: The set up is simple: turn a knob to lower the spiked end of the pole, pop it open like an umbrella, lower the two side flaps and stake down the umbrella in the 6 stake spots. The whole thing takes maybe 2 minutes. I go to a sheltered beach where wind isn't much of a problem, but it seemed sturdy enough to be able to withstand wind. It also comes with tie downs to help if it's really windy.
I wish I had bought this a year ago!

We seen this at the last Air Show we went too. We had to have it. The whole family can sit under it. We sit in our chairs under it with now problem. It is perfect for when you take an infant so you have no excuse not to go anywhere with this Unbrella. Everybody borrows it. Wish we would of had it years ago.

This is a huge umbrella that gives shelter on rainy or sunny football days. I put it in the bleachers for football days and prop the back on the bench behind me and let the handle extend down to the seat in front. If it is sunny or rainy, I can get about 4-6 people under it to keep cool or dry. It doesn't block the view of people a couple of rows behind either. Easy to carry around too.

We are on our second season with this umbrella. Very durable, very easy to set up. Simply lay the umbrella on its side and push the stakes through the attached rings. I purchased this after wrestling with and returning a "pop-up" cabana. Plenty of shade for two adults and two small kids. Worth every penny!
