5Love it!Oct 19, 2010

I bought the pink big wheel for my daughter and the red one for my son for their 4th birthday. They love riding them. Assembly was not bad at all and it seems pretty durable. I really like the flag that comes on the back so they are more visible to cars. My kids are average height for their age and my son is on the small side and with the seat in the first setting, he is able to pedal with no problems. For the price, if your child is as active as mine, and will ride it often, it is worth it. I love that it comes in red and pink. This way, they have his and hers big wheels.

2Check your child's height!Dec 25, 2010
By K. Cross "K. Cross"
Over-excited about the prospect of my daughter wheeling around the driveway on Christmas morning, I snapped up this trike without really reading the reviews. It says ages 3+ and my daughter, at 33 months, has always been exceptionally tall for her age. I thought, "no problem!" Boy, was I wrong.

While it is a very fun, very cool-looking big wheel, my daughter is nowhere near the height she needs to be to comfortably ride this thing. What 3 year old would be? She's got a modest 5 inches to go (and really needs a few inches on that for a smoother ride.) I would say no less than 42" is a good starting height for this tricycle.

This company would serve well to put a height guideline instead of an age range on the packaging!

For now, it is attic bound.

5Well worth it!Aug 27, 2010

I was looking at getting a girls' Big Wheeler but after reading the reviews I searched else where and found Radio Flyer's version. The reviews were much better and made me comfortable buying it and I don't regret it! It was easy to assemble and is definitely sturdy and well built. My daughter's favorite thing on this bike is the flag, she loves it!! This bike is too cute!

440 inch kid, minimumJan 23, 2011

We bought this for our 3.5 year old girl because her knees are bumping the handlebars of her RF tricycle but we didn't think she was ready for a big-kid bike. Our daughter is 39 inches (50th percentile for height) and is probably 1 inch too short for this trike, even with the seat at the closest position. She can do it, but she loses the pedals frequently, especially when she turns. This will be better after she's grown another inch or so. Otherwise, she loved it, loved the "big kid" look, loved the color, loved the flag, loved everything. It's a cute bike, mostly plastic except for the chrome handlebars, probably not something that will hold up for multiple kids, but we only have 1 girl, so it's all right for us. The pink "tread" on the front wheel gets dirty on the road immediately. We look forward to using it in the spring.

5Great ride-on toy!Jan 12, 2011

Bought this for my 4 year old for Christmas. She loves it, although her 7 year old sister also enjoys it. It's a little big for the younger one, but the seat adjusts to a pretty good distance for her. My 21 year old brother was also able to ride it in our basement, without breaking it. :)
