 Works great, if you can install a properly sized roll of towels.Dec 10, 2011

After embarking on this fiasco, I returned to the site to see how I could have avoided ordering the wrong size roll of towells, sold only by the case. The order point for the Marathon dispenser does not list the size of the roll it requires. This is not as bad as it sounds because Amazon does not specify the size of any of the 'hard rolls' it sells. So, even if it dId list the size, one still floats far out to sea with respect to a complete working product. NOMENCLATURE ALERT-- 'hard roll' seems to be the trade name for the type of rolled paper towells commonly dispensed in public restrooms.
After being reduced to calling the help desk for Georgia Pacific, I found the brand name of a roll of the proper size. If you order this dispenser you will need to buy rolls 7.87" wide, 5 1/2" in diameter, with a center spindle hole 1 1/2" in diameter. Single ply paper.
In my opinion, the powers that be guard these facts so that they can force the customer to buy their over-priced hard roll paper products. One must buy the brand name paper product that goes with the dispenser. This makes hard roll dispensers more akin to razors and razor blades or printers and their cartridges.

I purchased this dispenser for use at a Laundromat and have been pleased with it's performance. It works best when you avoid cheap batteries and use quality ones. They seem to last for at least 6-8 weeks with moderate to heavy use. I would purchase it again.
